PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT COMPLETELY, THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING OUR POLICIES. TO VERBALLY EXPLAIN OUR ENTIRE STORE PROCEDURE WOULD BE TIME PROHIBITIVE SO WE OFFER THE NECESSARY INFORMATION FOR YOU TO CONSIDER IN WRITING.

Order Dept. - Bowties Tux & Bridal will provide the merchandise listed on the invoice in the size and color that you have requested. This is a standard size and is not custom made to your measurements or height. Most bridal and formal wear is constructed so that it will fit a wide range of sizes and body variances. It is common to expect that alterations will be necessary to properly fit your gown to your body. We have an on-site Alterations Department that offers these services for an additional fee. When choosing the appropriate size to special order a gown, you must consider the bust, waist, and hip measurements and reference it to the corresponding size according to the largest measurement per the designer’s size chart. You acknowledge that you have reviewed the available size chart with you consultant and/or have tried on a gown and have selected the size. Bowties Bridal cannot be responsible for any variation in original measurements due to weight loss or gain.

Special order dresses are placed when 50% of the total invoice is paid. When your order is received, you will be contacted so that you can make an appointment to try on and pick up your merchandise or start your alteration fittings. All special orders MUST be inspected and paid for within 5 days of being received in store. Manufacturers will not correct any defect for any item not inspected and reported within that time frame. Any layaway offer will not be extended longer than 60 days and any verbal offer is not valid unless also made in writing. Any items that have not been paid off and picked up within 30 days of the original in stock purchase or within 30 days of arriving in store will be subject to off site storage fees of $10 per day, forfeiture of any payments, cancellation of the contract and placed in inventory.

Dye lots may vary so bridesmaid dresses need to be ordered together to assure that they will be cut from the same bolt of fabric. The dye process for fabrics may change without our knowledge or control. Swatches are offered for a fee of $10 for coordinating colors. There is no guarantee or implied indication that your garment will be exactly the color that you have viewed on a swatch.

We recommend that you order your merchandise at least 6 months prior to your event date. Sales consultants are unable to provide you with estimations for time of arrival. You may call the next business day and speak with the Order Department to receive an anticipated date of shipment for your merchandise. It is important to understand that this date is not a guaranteed ship date but an estimate that the manufacturer provides for us. Please understand that we cannot be held responsible or legally liable for any actions that occur outside of our control (i.e., manufacturers delays, shipping errors and/or shipping delays or dye variances). Compensation will not be made for late orders due to manufacturers delay in either a reimbursement of the rush fee, nor free services. Manufacturers offer a rush-cutting schedule for an additional fee depending on availability. To avoid these fees, please adhere to ordering your wedding gown, bridesmaids, mothers and flower girls 6 months prior and all accessories a minimum of 8 weeks prior to your event date. Rush fees from the manufacturer are separate from rush shipping from UPS or a rush fee from the Alterations Department. “Rush” orders are placed for you as a convenience and delivery by any date is subject to the manufacturer’s schedule and/or product availability. Please discuss all of these options with your consultant.

Services - Merchandise must be fully paid for prior to your alterations appointment. All services must be paid in advance, i.e., alterations, dye charges, etc. Please wear appropriate undergarments and shoes to all fittings. Alterations take a minimum of 6-8 weeks depending on season and typically involve additional fittings. Any rush service for alterations is offered, if available, at an additional fee of $25.00 - $50.00 for any date less than six weeks away. Appointments for alterations are available Thursday, Friday and Saturday . Appointments are set when your merchandise is received. We offer shoe and handbag dyeing. The fabrics that they are constructed with are different than the fabrics used for gowns. Therefore, there is no guarantee of how the shoe, seams or details of the shoes will dye. With this considered, we cannot be held responsible or legally liable for any fabric or color variations. You understand that this process will not result in an exact color match, but will coordinate in potentially a shade lighter or darker to your garment. The effect of indoor vs. outdoor lighting may need to be considered when choosing the dye color. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for this service to avoid a rush fee.

No checks can be accepted at the time of pick up. If you would like to make your final payment by check, please do so at least 10 days before you intend to pick up your merchandise. All stop payments on checks are considered fraud and will be prosecuted. NSF checks are charged a $25.00 fee. Any credit card dispute that is in conflict with this contract will be subject to an administration fee of $50.00 and will be collected through legal means. If legal intervention is necessary, you agree to pay all related attorney, court and administration fees.

ALL ITEMS AND SERVICES ARE SOLD, PERFORMED, RENTED AND/OR RESERVED “AS IS” AND ARE NOT SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION, CHANGE, SUBSTITUTION, REFUND OR RETURN FOR ANY REASON. THERE WILL NOT BE ANY SPECIAL CONSIDERATION MADE SINCE WE ARE FAIR AND CONSISTENT WITH OUR POLICIES FOR ALL CUSTOMERS. WE REGRET ANY INCONVENIENCE THAT THIS INDUSTRY STANDARD POLICY MAY CAUSE AND ENCOURAGE YOU TO MAKE YOUR SELECTIONS ACCORDINGLY.
